”Wood ear, Wild Garlic Brine, Burnt 3 Cornered Leek Oil, Noodles Part 1 of 3

Took a little break there for a few weeks to reset and adjust myself a little. I’d love to day I’ve been really busy and jumping into this year at full speed but it’s quite the opposite. Happy New Year to one and all hope you are all ok.
This year I’ll be doing a more videos and longer cuts that give you an idea to my approach on wild ingredients along with how I make something tasty. It’ll undoubtedly include elements I’ve preserved that you may now have handy so I’ll be positing those older processes as well. Most importantly though I’ll be outdoors as much as possible and hopefully you can do the same.
Problem is it’s a challenge editing all this and often a longer process and way too much deliberation this way. I’ll try and be cutting them down on here and also putting longer videos on YouTube in due course (links soon). Meanwhile do look at my events and other items on the website (www.flavourfred.com). You can see all my posts filtered in the blog section and you can search by catagory which is in date order. Pretty handy if I’m honest.
Hopefully longer informative videos will create something to be part of and that’s what I’d like to create. Message me and chat anytime.
So here’s part 1 of 4 creating a lovely wood ear, wild garlic brine, burnt 3 cornered leek noodle dish. Very funky, slippery, wood ear-y, tasty & magical. Stay tuned and #getoutdoors
