”Been wanting to try this for a while and although there’s no caffeine it ticks so many boxes with its powerhouse of deep earthiness along with being nutritionally dense. This worked so well and the deepness was very very close - I’ll be trying this again maybe with a nice outlet like @cafe_grannys. I used about 2 teaspoons of the dried powdered nettles that I dried before blending into a powder and sieving into a bowl to whisking with water at 80 degrees. Delicious!!

Nettle tops are wonderful items to gather in spring and can be preserved in a number of ways. I only take the top inch and let the rest grow back for a month before returning to the same location. People go for the seeds in summer (more on that later) and avoid the leaves because of the oxalates (take a look - I’ll also come back to that later). But after rinsing them off I dried on the dash and blitzed them up as you’ll see in the video.
