£40.00

A further confirmation email will be sent 3 days prior to the Walk where any special requests and dietary requirements can be discussed.

We will meet at the entrance to St Helen’s Wood on St. Helen’s Wood Road, Hastings, TN34 2 QR

These walks are an introduction to foraging for flavour in order to teach on the rules and regulations, identification techniques, and the risks associated with wild food and drink. Throughout the walk we will identify seasonal ingredients and compare and contrast with their dangerous counterparts. During this I will be regularly visiting certain techniques of preservation and ways in which to create tasty wild ingredients to use at home along with a few tasters along the way.  We will not be collecting/gathering from St. Helen’s Wood.

This session is run with approval from the St. Helen’s Wood Preservation Society who will receive a donation from each session.
