Hampstead Heath

A further confirmation email will be sent 3 days prior to the Walk where any special requests and dietary requirements can be discussed.

We will meet at the Kenwood House, Hampstead Heath.  Further meeting point location provided on confirmation email that follows.

These walks are an introduction to foraging for flavour in order to teach on the rules and regulations, identification techniques, and the risks associated with wild food and drink. Throughout the walk we will identify seasonal ingredients and compare and contrast with their dangerous counterparts. During this I will be regularly visiting certain techniques of preservation and ways in which to create tasty wild ingredients to use at home along with a few tasters.

Please see my FAQ’s on the walks page but just to confirm my sessions are not gathering from the site.  Many locations such as this one have rules surrounding foraging which will be discussed and the importance.  Purely identification and my favourite information about them is what will be discussed.  All items provided are prepared in advance from private sites.
