DESCRIPTION:A further confirmation email will be sent 3 days prior to the Walk where any special requests and dietary requirements can be discussed. \nWe will meet at the Hackney Marshes Centre Car Park\, Homerton Road\, E9 5PF.  Further meeting point location provided on the confirmation email that follows. \nThese walks are an introduction to foraging for flavour in order to teach on the rules and regulations\, identification techniques\, and the risks associated with wild food and drink. Throughout the walk we will identify seasonal ingredients and compare and contrast with their dangerous counterparts. During this I will be regularly visiting certain techniques of preservation and ways in which to create tasty wild ingredients to use at home along with a few tasters. \nPlease view our Terms and Conditions

SUMMARY:FAT FOX MUSHROOMS - WALK & WORKSHOP
DESCRIPTION:FAT FOX MUSHROOMS: an extra special session for 2026 covering 4.5 hours ending with a workshop focusing on deriving flavour through various cooking & fermentation techniques to get the most out of wild ingredients & cultivated fungi.   We will start with a Flavour Led Forage from Hackney Marshes through Leyton Marshes at 2pm.  After a 2.5 hour walk we will arrive at Fat Fox Mushrooms (43 Markfield Road\, London\, N15 4QA) for a workshop on how to get the most out of some glorious cultivated fungi from the Fat Fox crew.  During the session we will also enjoy a selection of my favourite wild dishes & mushroom based snacks\, wild sodas/drinks\, infusions and various tasty wild drinks. \nTickets are £85pp\, limited to 12 people \nTerms & Conditions Apply
